Hourglass Recordings LLC Terms of Service

Please read carefully

We will provide free mix advice prior to starting all jobs if requested. This mix critique will be given to paying clients upon submitting job and files. Free sample master requests receive no critique
Introductory pricing is only available and offered to 1st time clients of Hourglass Recordings LLC
Be sure to transfer files immediately after form submission so we can get you feedback ASAP - We recommend WeTransfer
Final files delivered will be rendered as 24bit/44.1k .WAV files unless otherwise requested
Know and finalize your track count & service type before file transfer (per service)
Organization helps us work faster and get your art back to you sooner, you agree to label everything well

We are 100% digital in delivery
File transfers to be made via WeTransfer or other service as mutually agreed upon by client & engineer
Turnaround time variable and flexible but ALWAYS under 5 business days; Rush jobs add $30
As courtesy to our clients we offer encoded + tagged 320skbps MP3s of masters or mixdowns, available free upon request - Other file type requests may incur additional charges

We currently accept Major Credit Cards, Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp or ACH Transfers
Bookings and Sessions are subject to 50% deposit down
Payments are sent via email invoice immediately following a session or job.
Clients are responsible for all monies due to the studio and shall make payment to the studio as due on receipt. No media will be transferred to customer until full payment is made
Hourglass Recordings LLC generally requires a 50% deposit down of total invoice amount for sessions longer than 10 hours. Deposits are nonrefundable but sessions may be rescheduled with no penalty. Session cancelled or rescheduled with less than a days' notice may forfeit full or partial deposit.
Clients late to scheduled sessions are subject to a late fee each hour past confirmed start time.

Clients shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the Hourglass Recordings LLC premise's and/or property caused by the client, clients employees, guest, invitees, or agents acting under client’s instruction. As result of misuse, negligence, carelessness, or willful misconduct. You agree to provide monetary compensation in the amount of full new replacement value of the damaged item(s). Damage to the studio or its property of any kind that as a result of anyone in the clients party or group, will be assessed to the clients account
No smoking in the control room. Smoking is permitted in the live room at the discretion of the session engineer.
No food or drinks (except water) is allowed in the control room at any time. You are welcome to use the kitchen or lounge areas.
When working at Hourglass Recordings LLC you agree to be respectful and courteous
When working at Hourglass Recordings LLC you agree to clean up after yourself
When using any facility at Hourglass Recordings LLC (Kitchen, Living Room, etc) you agree to leave the space as clean as when you arrived.
A limited number of guests may be admitted by request, but at our sole discretion. It is recommended that only individuals essential to the recording be present during the booked time

In the unlikely event you feel the final product does not sound incredible we will revise until you are 100% happy. We are fully confident in our service and stand by our "revise till satisfied" policy. However revisions must be requested within 20 days of delivery. Additional charges may incur for revisions requested after this window
There are no refunds, however if you are truly unhappy with our services, we will make it right. We stand by our customer service and our goal is to keep you as a client for life
